Description
This traditional Middle Eastern spice blend is great for seasoning mushrooms, but it can also be used to cook fish, chicken, or vegetables, and for dipping bread (with olive oil). It is also great to set on the table to sprinkle on almost any dish like a bright and herby condiment. The Mushroom Mavens make a marinade with olive oil and Za’atar and use that to grill fish and veggies. It contains a blend of thyme, sumac, cumin, coriander, chili flakes and sesame seeds. We exclude salt from our recipe so you can add salt according to your taste.
